Appayan Saha, Kolkata : Celebrated Bengali rock band Cactuss has unveiled their latest EP, Sesh Pawa Khoborey, marking their first release in six years. The EP features three tracks: “Ami Firchi Bari,” “Aro Ektu Rong,” and “Tokey Chara Parbona,” showcasing the band’s signature blend of alternative and psychedelic rock infused with ’80s glam and pop influences. This release introduces the band’s refreshed lineup, active since 2021, highlighting their enduring presence in the Bengali rock scene.

The album credits include compositions and performances by Cactuss, with lyrics penned by lead vocalist Sidhu. The lineup features Siddhartha ‘Sidhu’ Ray and Abhijit ‘Pata’ Barman on vocals, Arnab Dasgupta on drums, Samrat Banerjee on guitars, Boidurjyo Chowdhury on guitar and vocals, Sayantan Chatterjee on keyboards, and Prasanto Mahato on bass. The recording, mixing, and mastering were handled by Srirup Chatterjee at Art & Practice Studio and Gramophone Studios, with album artwork by Niloy Das and promotions by Out Of The Box.
