The upcoming film “War 2” is generating significant buzz, particularly due to a highly anticipated dance sequence featuring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. This sequence is designed as a dynamic fusion of styles, blending the energetic vibes of “Jai Jai Shivshankar” from the original “War” and the Oscar-winning “Naatu Naatu” from “RRR.”
Filming for this dance-off commenced on March 4, 2025, at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai. Choreographed by Bosco Martis, the sequence is set against a grand backdrop, featuring over 500 background dancers. Both Hrithik and Jr NTR have been rehearsing individually for the past 15 days to ensure their on-screen performance is both authentic and spontaneous.
To maintain the element of surprise and prevent any leaks, strict security measures have been implemented on set. Mobile phones are prohibited, and all crew members are required to wear special badges to prevent unauthorized access.
“War 2,” directed by Ayan Mukerji and also starring Kiara Advani, is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on August 14, 2025.
